Autoscale Global is a development and infrastructure services company registered in Pakistan. We operate at autoscale.global and serve clients locally and internationally. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your rights. "We", "us", and "our" refers to Autoscale Global.

2.1 Information you provide directly
- Full name and job title
- Business name and address
- Email address and phone number
- Project details and requirements you share with us
- Payment-related information (handled through PayFast — we do not store card details)
2.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address and general location (country/city level)
- Browser type and device type
- Pages visited, time on site, and referral source
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7)
2.3 Information from third parties
- PayFast — transaction confirmation and payment status (not card details)
- Email service providers — delivery and open status of invoices or communications
3. Why we collect your data
- To respond to project enquiries and prepare quotes
- To deliver the agreed services and manage project communication
- To issue invoices and process payments via PayFast
- To maintain client records and comply with our legal obligations
- To send service-related communications (project updates, invoice reminders)
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it (analytics only)
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Contract — processing necessary to provide services you have requested or contracted.
- Legitimate interests — website analytics and fraud prevention, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose records.
- Consent — where you have explicitly agreed (e.g. subscribing to updates); you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Who we share your data with
- PayFast — to process invoice payments (their privacy policy governs your payment data)
- Email service providers — to send and track project-related communications and invoices
- Project management tools — internal tools used to track deliverables (not shared publicly)
- Legal or regulatory authorities — if required by Pakistan law or a valid court order
All third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and only for the purpose for which it was shared.
6. Data retention
- Client project data and correspondence — 5 years after project completion
- Invoice and payment records — 7 years (statutory financial record requirement)
- Website analytics data — 13 months on a rolling basis
- Enquiries that did not convert to a project — 12 months, then deleted
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Cookies
- Strictly necessary — required for the website to function (session management, form submission). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site. We use anonymised analytics only.
- Preference — remember your settings (e.g. language, region).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.
8. International transfers
Our primary operations are based in Pakistan. If you are located in the EU or another jurisdiction with data-transfer restrictions, your data may be processed in Pakistan. We apply appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections, when transferring data internationally.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure — including encrypted communications (HTTPS), restricted access to client data, and secure handling of credentials. No internet transmission is 100% secure; while we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted online.
11. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version is published at autoscale.global/privacy with a revised "Last updated" date.
